HIGHLIGHTS:

• The biggest highlight of Comic Con Palm Springs is the second appearance of Stan Lee, a founding godfather of the comic book world. Stan Lee has been involved with all aspects of the comic book industry including writer, editor, publisher, producer, actor and former president & chairman of Marvel Comics. Stan Lee is a co-creator of many iconic comic book characters including Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, the X-men and others. Everyone recognizes Stan Lee from his cameo appearances in every Marvel motion picture film made to date.
• For the first time ever, Lynda Carter (who portrayed Wonder Woman in the television series from 1975-1979) will appear at a Comic Con as part of her concert tour “The Other Side of Trouble”. The 90-minute concert will be held in the Palm Springs Convention Center on Saturday, August 26th at 8 pm and requires a separate ticket to attend the event. There is only one show, so be certain to get your tickets early as the concert will surely sell-out. The Lynda Carter appearance is yet another example of how Comic Con Palm Springs has put together a truly unique program unlike any other Comic Con worldwide.
• A Zombie Room Maze will be set up in the Cactus Room of the Renaissance Hotel. You will need to use your wits and your brain to create and discover the secret formula before you get attacked by zombies. You’ll need to use your stealth to avoid attacks while you concoct your zombie cure. The Zombie Room Maze is being brought to you by Escape Room Palm Springs and takes place Friday from 5 pm-11 pm. Saturday from 11 am -9:30 pm and Sunday from 11 am – 4 pm.
• There are special events planned to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of “The Death of Superman” and “Batman: The Animated Series”. You can also win $1000 in the CosPlay contest and catch the GeekFest film festival.
