Mod Cafe
The owners of the Palm Greens Cafe are pleased to bring a new health-conscious eatery called Mod Cafe which is a little bit country, a little bit zen and a little bit rock & roll. In addition to an assortment of smoothies and juices, you’ll also find a breakfast menu heavy on healthy vegetables like egg & poblano pepper tacos with a root vegetable hash. The all-day menu also includes a variety of grain bowls and sandwiches. Mod Cafe is located in the Uptown area at 515 N Palm Canyon Dr. Mod Cafe is open Sunday through Wednesday from 7 am to 3 pm.
Farm
Discover a Provencal feel in the bougainvillea covered patio of Farm, a small bistro inspired by owner Liz Ostoich’s travels through the south of France. An authentic menu awaits with French press coffee, homemade jams, and dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients. Breakfast entrees include crepes, omelets and unique French Toast dishes. A Prix Fixe dinner is offered on Friday and Saturday evenings. Farm is located at 6 La Plaza in downtown Palm Springs.
Shanghai Red’s Oyster Bar
When you are craving on of the Coachella Valley’s best fish taco, check out Shanghai Red’s Oyster Bar. Off the beaten track and tucked behind Fisherman’s Market & Grill, Shanghai Red’s has the feel of a hip dive-bar with very cool overtones. Catch a live band playing on-stage in the expanded pet-friendly outdoor patio while you through back a few beers with a bucket of peel & eat shrimp. Rooster And The Pig
In the back corner of a strip mall along Indian Canyon Drive, you’ll find Rooster and The Pig, a small eatery beloved by locals. Offering a fusion of American and Vietnamese cuisine, the ever changing menu serves up fresh choices like Vietnamese Pickle, jasmine tea leaf salad and many sharable entrees. A full bar is now available with local beer, affordable wines and in-house craft cocktails. Rooster and the Pig is located at 356 S Indian Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs.
533 Viet Fusion
Formerly known as Pho 533, 533 Viet Fusion is the completed expanded space which now includes a spring roll bar and lounge in addition to the restaurant. The menu is based on farm fresh vegetables and herbs with meat (pork, beef, seafood and chicken) featuring their famed Pho as well as chef-designed specialty dishes. You’ll detect a theme with their $5.33 Happy Hour prices on select menu choices and bar selections. 533 Viet Fusion is located at 1775 E Palm Canyon Drive on the south side of Palm Springs in the Smoketree Shopping Center.
